From the President: For January 2008

We finished off the new year well with what former Sierra Writers President, John Skinner, called our best Christmas Party ever. Thanks so much to Olivia Diaz and Ernie Malamud for the use of their home.

So much for 2007. Who knows what 2008 has in store for us. On the Sierra Writers front, keep your second Wednesday evenings of the month open. I continue to learn a thing or two from each new perspective in our speaker series. Once again, we've lined up speakers from a variety of backgrounds and experience. I just wrote the beginning of a story I'm going to share in our "Open Read" in March. Don't wait too long to get yours ready. See you in 2008.
