Join other writers of fiction and non-fiction, prose and poetry, books, stories, and articles. Network with dozens of writers: some published, some wanting to be published, some who just gotta write. Discuss all aspects of the craft and business of writing.

Membership only costs $20 per year ($25 for couples). Renewal time is 12 months after you pay your dues.

Other Advantages

  • Members receive a Membership Directory and get listed in the next year's directory.

  • Members can participate in critique groups where works in progress are passed around for reading and critiquing. This opportunity to offer and receive constructive input and to share the process is a valuable opportunity.

  • Members are encouraged and permitted to submit any personally written materials (up to 1500 words) to be published on the sierrawriters.org web site.

  • Members receive a discount for special Seminars or Workshops when hosted by Sierra Writers.

Fees

Annual membership fees are $20 for individuals or $25 for couples. Fees are due with the application and then each year after that. Bring the completed Membership Form with your payment to our general meeting held the second Wednesday of each month. Or print and mail it (and an enclosed check) to:
