John Skinner

Many of you know John Skinner from his articles on local history and outdoor recreation in Sierra Heritage Magazine as well as other regional publications. John is also the author of Sierra Outdoors, a very popular reference book for outdoor adventure in the Sierras.

John spent many years as Forest Supervisor of the Tahoe National Forest, and his enthusiasm for the outdoors and this beautiful Region fills his writing.
